Two CC10 Speeches In One Night - 8th June 2010
Congratulations to Alison Coles and Matt Simons who both delivered their number 10 speeches and achieved their Competent Communicator awards.
Alison's speech was entitled 'Proud?' and encouraged us to take the time to think about all the things in our lives that we should be proud of, and to actually be proud of them.
Matt's speech, entitled 'Better To Be You', was about how we often try to be what other people want us to be rather than who we are. Matt challenged us to be true to ourselves, live our values and play to our strengths.

Speak Out! - 27th March 2010
Newbury Speakers Club, in partnership with Newbury Events and West Berkshire Council, is arranging a Hyde Park Speakers Corner style event called Speak Out! The event will take place on Saturday 27th March outside the steps of the Council Chambers in the Market Square, Newbury and will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
