The fear of speaking in public is high on the list of people's worst fears, but presentation and communication skills are crucial to success in both the workplace and in your private life.

Whether you want to be more confident in business meetings, deliver a speech at a special occasion or aspire to be a professional speaker, Newbury Speakers can help.

As a club we are able to support people to confront their fears and to speak in front of an audience. We offer time-tested Communication and Leadership tracks through our affiliation to Toastmasters International, which supports our members in developing their communication and leadership skills. This association also gives our members access to a wide range of proven resources plus an international network of speaking clubs.

We have a wide range of speaking abilities in the club, but whatever their ability our members find that as confidence grows they find themselves developing and discovering ways of making their speeches more interesting. The experience from other members in the club and the focus given to speeches from the Speech manuals helps our members to become much better speakers.

You will:

• Build speaking and leadership skills with time-tested methods 
• Focus on areas of interest in our self-paced curriculum 
• Receive suggestions for improvement through constructive evaluations.

For Corporate groups Newbury Speakers is also able to offer its proven and successful Speechcraft course.
