Christmas Dinner and Club Awards
Every year at the annual Christmas Dinner the club recognises the achievements of its members by presenting the various club awards.
Competitions
Each year the club sends representatives to the various competitions held by the Toastmasters organisation.
25th Anniversary Celebration
On 6th June 2009 Newbury speakers celebrated their 25th Anniversary with a black tie event at the Newbury Manor Hotel. Jenny Mills, one of the founder members of the club, was presented with a lifetime membership in recognition of 25 years as a club member. The guest speaker, Hannah McKeand, enthralled the audience with the story of how she set a world record for skiing from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole, a 690 mile journey that she completed in just 39 days.
Killarney Lakes Conference 2008
Newbury speakers were invited to present on Speechcraft and Forming a New Corporate Club at the D71 Conference in Killarney in May 2008.
'Number 10s' Meeting June 2008
Four speakers delivered number 10 speeches at a celebration evening. In the space of two hours two CC awards, one ACS award and one ACG award were achieved.

The new committee is elected for the 10/11 Toastmasters year.
